Plum Pummel is a Unicorn and former kick boxer. Being a Unicorn she was expected to be prudey, however that wasn't the case, she is a tomboy more than anything. Because of this she hides her horn in her mane so she appears to be a rough and tumble Earth Pony. She was once one of the top mare kick boxers in Equestria, until her manager told her to throw a fight. It turned out that her whole division was based around rigged fights, and so threw in the towel right then and there, not wanting to be famous based on a huge lie. She received offers to join other kick boxing divisions but she refused them all, her only one had completely ruined the sport for her, she didn't know who to trust in the business, for all she knew all of them could be rigged.

For awhile she had no source of income, and was close to losing her house, until she read an ad in the newspaper. It was a want ad looking for a bodyguard to protect them on a long journey. With her strong back legs and fighting skills she knew she'd be able to do this job and so replied to the ad right away. The creator of the ad was a Longyi named Wonderlust, she needed somepony strong to protect her while looking for her Father. It would require strength as well as agility to be able to fill this job as they would be exploring caves, deep forests and even ruins, you never know what you might find in such places. Plum accepted the job and ever since, her and Wonderlust have explored many places, made enemies with a group known as the Schetland Ponies, and have been captured by many a trap. Plum is usually the one to have to save Wonder from traps however she will occasionally be caught off guard and get snagged up in one herself. When fighting a threat she uses her kick boxing mostly, but when times demand it she will use her Unicorn magic to fling the threat away, since she hides her horn in her mane the assailants don't see it coming.

Plum began to fall for Wonderlust a few years into their expedition. Saving her from peril added a little spark to her life that she didn't know she was missing. Whenever Wonderlust would fall into a trap or get caught by the Schetland's, or even when they'd fall in a prediciment together, figuring out how to get both of them free was always fun for Plum, nearly as fun as her passion for Kickboxing. Little did she know that Wonderlust was feeling it to. She had always imagined her future Special Somepony would be a big, strong, strapping stallion in armor who would whisk her away, but as time went on with Plum, as they got to know each other more and more, this vision began to waver from a strong white stallion to a strong purple mare.

They finally became an item one beautiful day, after the Schetland's had captured them. After revealing more of their plan in true evil genius fashion, the Schetland's had left them tied up to their certain doom, hanging over a bottomless pit. The pair hatch a plan however to escape, swinging themselves higher and higher until the rope snaps, the momentum launching them in the direction of the solid ground. Plum was nearly a goner, for she didn't have wings to save herself, when Wonderlust grabbed her and flew her to safety. When they landed, the pair blushed at each other.

"Heh... well looks like you saved ME this time." Plum said with a laugh, looking at her hooves.

"Hehe... yeah..." Wonderlust replied. "It feels good to be the one that did something productive..." she laughed.

The two sat in silence for a moment, until it was broken by the rustling of Plum's hooves, as she stepped a little closer to Wonder and planted a kiss directly on her cheek. Wonder looked at her wide eyed for a moment, and then smiled. The rest of that night was spent snuggling rather than adventuring.
