Shippy: LunaSymphony - A Tender Moment

"You've created another beautiful night Princess!" Dusk said happily, hopping around their favorite meeting place, the castle gardens, around where the Moon Flowers bloomed each night.

"Duuusk!" she giggled, poking the Longma on the nose. "I told you already, you're allowed to call me Luna."

Dusk giggled back. "I know, I know! Times have changed and yadda yadda yadda, I guess old habits die hard... It was drilled into my head to call you Princess all that time ago so I guess I'm just having trouble remembering..."

Luna nodded. "Yeah you're right, but I'll keep reminding you until you remember. You've been adjusting well other than that though, I'd say even better than I did when I first returned..." she frowned and looked to the moon.

"I can imagine..." Dusk replied, looking up with her. "When I came back I had you to help me, somepony who had already had to adjust, but you... I just wish I could've been there with you, to help you through that whole transition."

"I know you do Dusk, I know." a tear began to form in the Princesses eye, but she wiped it away quickly. "But there's no use thinking about what could have been, you're here now, we're here together and there's nothing that can separate us."

Dusk nodded. "Yup! And if anything or anypony even tries, they'll learn my claws and teeth aren't just for show!" she giggled.

"Oh Dusk!" Luna giggled as well, bringing her face down and smooshing it against Dusk's. "What would I ever do without you?"

A few involuntary sparks of magic blurted random music notes from Dusk's horns as they touched noses. "W-w-well I don't know..." she said as she regained her composure. "Probably be bored."

Luna giggled again. "That's probably very true. Things were pretty boring around here before you showed up." she looked to the moon once again. "Well, we're burning moonlight." she said, trotting to the gazebo in the garden. "I think it's about time I gave my girl a magic lesson."

Dusk smiled, following behind her. "Hehe... your girl..." she said quietly to herself. They had shared many tender as well as a few rather 'steamy' moments in the Black Sun in the past, but she had never really thought of herself as 'Luna's girl', if anything they were in a really open relationship, no doubt to make up for missing a thousand years. A Princess being exclusively involved with a pony such as herself would probably cause trouble, at least until more of Equestria became tolerant to Longmas. She watched Luna trot over to the gazebo and smiled, "Someday... I'll tell you how I feel..." she whispered to herself.

Luna looked back to her, "Are you coming, slowpoke?"

Dusk shook her head, snapping her out of her daydream. "Oh, yeah, coming!"

Now before anything else, yes, I ship my OC with a canon character, and a Princess no less. If you don't like OC X Canon ships that's cool, I personally like them so I would rather not see any silly comments 'omg oc x canon shipz r dum y u do this', 'ermergerd mary sue', or any other trollish remarks. :3 Be respectful about your opinions and I shall in turn be respectful with mine.

For this image, since there are so many smexy anthro images of Dusk and Luna together, I figured I should do something tender and loving instead of lustful. X3

Now to fully explain their current relationship (current being after the events of Lament of a Longma which... wow I still haven't finished that have I?), they are in a very open relationship, occasionally doing some pretty steamy stuff together at the Full Moon and Black Sun clubs, but when they're not doing steamy stuff they seem just like best buds to the untrained eye. Dusk hopes to one day become more, and in the future, when I finally close breedings with Dusk completely, they may or may not become exclusive. X3

I really am hoping to finish Lament of a Longma at some point this year, I'm sure some of this seems a little confusing since it wasn't explained in the story yet. xwx With so much to do I really need to manage my time better.

Oh also, this is my first time drawing a canon character in pony form. ;w; I was so afraid I would butcher her or something. And I was even more afraid I would mess up Dusk completely, for some reason it's really hard for me to draw something the same every time.
