OC Ref: Tarasque the Dragon Aqua Equos

The image of Tarasque has been done for quite awhile now, I've only now just gotten some time to write up bios for my completed ponies. ;w; This was made when Aqua Equos were still brand new, there was a MYO event to create your own, if I recall I joined not too long before it ended. I wasn't going to at first, I didn't think I'd have time. But something about the species resonated with me, I made him as well as another one that I made during this time, and they helped me fall deep in love with the species. I am one of a lucky collection of artists who were able to obtain rights to the species and I am so happy, I've made friends because of Aqua Equos and I've met many talented artists that I might not have seen otherwise. It has been such a wonderful experience and I am so happy to be a part of it. <3

Now this fella here, the MYOs were pretty much a free for all, so me being me, I had to make a dragon one. owo It took me awhile to get colors I really liked, but when I finally found the ones that best suited him, bondiggity he looks handsome. <3 Dat beard tho. Raver helped me by digitally lining my sketches cause he is bae.

Personality: Tarasque is very to himself, he doesn't go seeking out companionship or company, he prefers the solitude of his cave. His only friend is his pet water dragon Levi, a lizard of his species doesn't really make any noise at all, his emotions are shown through the blinking and movement of his eyes. Tarasque isn't really a mean individual, he is just chill, he doesn't go looking for company but he has no problem being friendly if a passerby says hi. But if he or Levi are threatened in any way, watch out, because his dragonic temper will flare up. When he's angry, the water in his mane boils and he exudes more steam than normal.

Tarasque is a dragon type Aqua Equos, and though he doesn't really have much a dragon temperament, he does have some dragonic mannerisms. For one, he lives in a cave. It's a beach cave on the coast of Horseshoe Bay, where he keeps his own dragonly horde. This horde isn't a traditional one, it isn't fill with gold and jewels, but rather it is made of things he has found on the beach. Sea glass makes up most of the horde, he loves how smooth it is and all the different shapes it can be in. He also collects brilliant sea shells, from sand dollars to giant spiral shells. Each one goes carefully in his horde which he can be seen cleaning and polishing often. He also collects pieces of driftwood. He doesn't place these in his horde, with his claws and teeth he enjoys carving little knick knacks and statues out of them, then he sends them back out to sea, hoping that they will find somepony that appreciates his craftsponyship.

Tarasque stays alone, opting to live only with his pet Levi (short for Leviathan), a Chinese water dragon. He found the little critter floating on a piece of driftwood, clining to life and very far from home. He took him in and nursed him back to health. Tarasque has no way of knowing how he ended up out to sea since he can't speak, but whatever the reason he's glad he found him. He has been a loyal companion to him, he even listens to him yammer on about his horde and driftwood sculptures. Levi's favorite place to bask is on Tarasque's tail, since he is a dragon type his water is very warm so he has no need for a head lamp. If anypony were to ever threaten his little buddy, they'd be in for a rude awakening. His claws are sharp from using them to carve into driftwood, and he knows how to use them. When he is angry or upset, the water in his mane boils and steams more than usual, when this happens watch out for a hot swipe from his tail!

All in all Tarasque is a pretty chill stallion, if he's not out looking for more shells and glass for his collection, he can be found staring out into the sea. He also enjoys basking in the son like his lizard friend, he has a favorite rock outside of his cave that he will lay on for hours at a time. It's peaceful where he lives, and a few miles from other ponies so he is not bothered often. He often wonders if he should explore the world and see new things, but decides against it, his rationale being why would he need to leave when new shells and glass come to him? His beach, cave, and Levi are really all he needs to be happy. It's a simple life, but it's a nice one.
